Scripts and files
Create, organize, import and keep your scripts.
Start a script, keep track of working copies and take your work with you. For example, write The door, rename it to The last door, then make a rehearsal draft or download a backup.

Keep your work and take it with you
Section titled “Keep your work and take it with you”The web editor saves work in this browser’s storage on this device. A downloaded file gives you a separate copy to keep or import elsewhere. Start with saving and storage if you are unsure where your script lives.
Use a .stepkg package for a backup with metadata and attachments. Use .stagistic for the script’s text format. See Download a script file for their different contents.
For page design and printable output, see Pages and export. For the structure within a script, see Acts and scenes.
